Cherie Blair comes to Kindred to discuss her extraordinary life and career.
After growing up in a working-class family in Merseyside, Cherie Blair has forged an incredible career driven by a strong sense of justice. She climbed to the top of the legal system – becoming the first British Prime Minister’s wife to have a serious career – and in 2008 created the Cherie Blair Foundation to support women in low and middle income countries to achieve financial independence.
Now a leading member of the King’s Counsel, Cherie will join us in The Hall to discuss her career, commitment to women’s rights and why mentorship and guidance are key to empowering the next generation of leaders.
The discussion will start at 7pm with networking and drinks (complimentary for the first 20 arrivals) from 6.30pm.
