Ancestral Futures Presents: Zimbabwe Talks

Hosted by the pioneering musician Shumba Maasai, Ancestral Futures is all about centring African musicians and providing a forum for discussion and performance. Each talk will focus on a different region or country, from Nigeria and Senegal to The Gambia and, in this case, Zimbabwe, and discuss how the rich traditions of each inform the music that you hear today. Expect special guests and performances to complement the discussion.

This midweek event will take place in The Hall and there will be drinks from the bar and food from our late-night menu available throughout the evening. Seating is allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
